This Data Retention Policy explains how long we keep different types of data, why we retain it, and how we securely delete it when no longer needed. We are committed to storing your data only for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal requirements.

Account Deletion
When you delete your account, the following process occurs:
- Your account is immediately deactivated and you lose access to the platform.
- Within 24 hours, your uploaded documents are permanently deleted.
- Within 30 days, all personal data including transaction history is permanently deleted.
- Anonymized analytics data may be retained for product improvement.
- Legal and compliance records are retained as required by law.
Your Controls
Delete Individual Documents
You can delete specific bank statements or invoices at any time from your dashboard. Deleted documents are permanently removed within 24 hours.
Export Your Data
Before deleting your account, you can export all your data in a portable format (CSV/JSON). This includes all transactions, categories, and insights.
Revoke Third-Party Access
You can disconnect Gmail, Outlook, or Account Aggregator integrations at any time. This stops further data collection from those sources.
